Whocallsme is a free service that provides a database of phone numbers from telemarketers, scam artists, surveyors and other people who waste your time.

As soon as I discovered this website I got a coincidental call a few minutes later from a telemarketer who simply did not speak, so I hang up the phone. Being curious I wrote down the number on a piece of paper and then type the number on the website. And to my surprise I discovered I had been called my American Express, the bastards!

This is great community based site, so if you received a strange call you are probably not the only one. When you search for a number you can see the comments from other people who received calls from the same number. And if there is no comments, you can leave your own comments.
